At the moment I am at four pages into the script, and once again I am seeing all sorts of obstacles in my way. The one major one being that the script thus far is playing off too much like another movie that inspired the one that I am writing.
The idea was to do a homage/quasi-spoof of the film. But so far, it's just way too much like it. So the plan of action at this point is to change what I can and just add more twists. Hopefully, this will make it less of a rip-off and more of the homage that I want it to be.
