I did a rough version of the island matte shot, and waited fifteen minutes or so for it to export into a avi file, only to find the whole thing stutters. It was like watching a video clip on a dial-up modem back in 1992. You dig?
So, back to research, googling, and reworking the video. It's all baby steps, really.
